Miami – The Second Encounter

Miami was great the first time, but it was a little cloudy. So when a friend was contemplating going down for a weekend and was looking for another driver, I thought “why not?”

I think I did mention earlier that it was a very interesting experience, since I did get to drive, and drive lots of miles (OVAR 500!). There were tons of videos taken, and lots of pictures, or well maybe not. But it’ll be something that I would always look back and enjoy! (That sounded cheesy didn’t it?)

Back Home

So it’s a little over a week since I got back.

Chicken rice never tasted this good! hah!

I figure I should write more about how happy I was to catch up with everyone again. Thank you to my dear friends that showed up at the airport! You really did surprise me and it really means alot to me that you showed up!

So I’ve been trying my darnest to catch up with everyone, it’s been pretty fun. It’s just weird how everything has gone back to the same old routine right now. I do miss the apartment and the independence I had there, as well as my own financial freedom. But hey, home is home!

What’s next? Who knows? It’s been hard to comprehend how nearly 7 months or 30 weeks, have flown by, just like that. Looking forward to getting my Singapore driving license. Hopefully I’ll get it by the end of the year, if not, by CNY next year.

I guess I’ll be keeping this, and probably be updating this too, albeit not as regularly as before, but there’s still going to be more USA pictures coming up, ones in Vegas and San Francisco, as well as those that I were too lazy to go through from before.

So before I sign off this post, a huge thank you goes out to my dear friends again, thanks for being there!

I guess 6 months have made me homesick.

 

Can’t wait to go home.

First time for everything

Woah.

So it’s been a day of firsts for me.

First time in an ambulance, first time in so much pain for so long and first time that I got this sick that I had to be brought to the emergency department.

Got all hooked up and drugged up on morphine since the pain was so bad.

But at least I’m getting better now.
